Visit Wales have recently undertaken a review of the current destination marketing and destination management arrangements in Wales. The review provided recommendations on what structural changes are needed to improve the effectiveness of destination marketing and management and how these two elements can be more closely integrated to achieve a dynamic, competitive and sustainable tourism sector in Wales.
The next stage of the review is to undertake a three-month consultation exercise, in order for you to give us your views on the recommendations outlined. A consultation paper and its appendices can be found at www.wales.gov.uk/tourism under the Development section.
